Insects
Insects can invade your home at any time throughout the year. During the fall as the weather gets colder, insects will seek shelter out of the elements. This shelter is usually your home, garage, or outbuildings. Improperly sealed windows and doors, damaged siding, skirting, and window screens may be possible points of entry.
During the spring and rainy months, pests are coming out of hibernation and begin mating. During these times, their outdoor homes are prone to flooding which could lead to an infestation in your home.
During extreme drought, insects may enter your home looking for cool moist areas. These areas are typically kitchens and bathrooms.
Good housekeeping is key to insect management. Keep food off the floor and stored in airtight containers. Keep your home free of clutter to minimize places for insects to live and hide. Stay a step ahead of them and give us a call to set up a preventative maintenance program before an invasion occurs.

Weeds
Weeds can turn your otherwise beautiful lawn into an unsightly mess in a very short time. Weed control is an extremely important part of keeping your lawn beautiful and healthy. Plus, you are required by law to control any noxious weeds on your property.
Nebraska currently has twelve noxious weeds on their list. Although not all weeds are considered noxious, almost all weeds in ornamental lawns and turf are undesirable. Many weeds can produce thousands of seeds per plant per year making it necessary to understand the type of weeds you are dealing with and how to effectively manage them.
A small handful of weeds may also be toxic to your domestic pets and livestock if ingested. Let us implement our knowledge and expertise into keeping your landscape healthy and beautiful.

Prairie Dogs
Prairie dogs and their towns can be detrimental to your rangelands. According to an article by the Colorado State University Extension, prairie dogs occupy an estimated two million acres in North America!
Although prairie dogs offer a food source for predators and raptors and offer shelter for other small mammals in their towns, their impact on native and non-native ranges can be devasting and costly.
An article published by South Dakota State University states that prairie dogs remove over four times the biomass on town than cattle on town and attribute up to 90% of forage disappearance from prairie dogs due to the result of non-consumption activities such as clipping.
As a result, managing prairie dogs can give you more available forage for your livestock, or alleviate yield loss on your grain crops.
Should You DIY?
Whether your pest problem is big or small, you may be wondering if you can control the problem yourself. The answer is not so simple.
First and foremost is safety. Almost all pest control products contain chemicals that can be hazardous to pets and humans if not used properly or used too excessively.
Next is effectiveness. Many diy pest control attempts fall short of effectively controlling the problem and prevent it from happening again.
Lastly is convenience. Leave your pest problem to us. We are friendly, fast, and professional and will get you back to normal living in no time.
